About Our Farm:

Singing Hill is a 120 acre farm nestled in the Irish Hills of southcentral Michigan. Our family, Todd & Kristi and our two teen children, moved to this land in 2010. Pictured are some characters who make up the supporting cast.

We invite you to take the virtual tour of the farm below, compromised of pictures Kristi has taken over the years mainly from daily walks with our border collie, Liz. From that you can see the diversity represented on Singing Hill. Within those images perhaps you recognize the nearly 20 acre restored prairie, the shallow water wildlife pond, the two distinct hardwood forests and the rotational grazing pasture. The remaining tillable acreage is farmed by a Mennonite couple who practice no-till farming.

Singing Hill is still evolving, but at its heart is this understanding:

When the land is taken from the animals, the animals suffer; when the animals are taken from the land, the land suffers. To re-pair animals and land is to repair our world.

Our on-going mission is to heal this land and in doing so, create a place of wonder and abundance that offers a home to domestic and wild animals alike, and calls to people as a place where they can be filled with quiet awe.
